New Level 3 offer

The new Level 3 Award in 海角社区 (ESOL) course is aimed at those interested in gaining a formal qualification, allowing them to upskill their pedagogical and practical approaches to teach ESOL learners. Accredited by Milton Keynes College on behalf of NCFE, this course will support new teachers of ESOL within the post-16 sector, especially those who have had no previous Level 3 initial teacher training or experience of ESOL.

Delivery of the Level 3 Award begins on 16 September 2024 and is structured across twelve weekly online sessions, concluding in December.

Level 5 offer: new dates for October 2024

In addition to our new Level 3 Award offer, new course dates for our ongoing Level 5 English and maths offer are now available to book. Delivery for all Level 5 courses commences in October 2024 and each course is structured across ten weekly online sessions, concluding in December.

The Level 5 modules have been well-received by the sector, with previous participants remarking on the quality of the trainers, content and delivery, and the ultimate impact on teaching and learner achievement:

鈥溾uperb. I couldn鈥檛 ask for more.鈥

鈥淚鈥檝e learned so much from the trainers and I’ve really enjoyed their delivery style, as well as the resources and ideas they鈥檝e shared. I鈥檓 usually a quiet member in these training courses, but they made me feel comfortable enough to be myself and to share my thoughts.鈥

鈥淭his transformative course offers aspiring ESOL teachers like me a remarkable opportunity for professional advancement for which I am very grateful.鈥

鈥淒oing tailored training has allowed me to examine which areas I could give more thought to, which has developed my teaching and how I think about the way I teach.鈥
